Chinese Beauty Queen’s Face as a Blueprint: Over 500 People Transformed to Look Like Her

inews24 Views

A popular Chinese beauty influencer operates her own plastic surgery clinic using her face as a blueprint. This led over 500 people to undergo cosmetic procedures.

On Monday, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported on Wang Jing, a 30-year-old beauty influencer from Zhejiang Province, and her private plastic surgery clinic. Wang, known for her doll-like appearance, has been making waves with her cosmetic transformations.

According to SCMP, Wang Jing has built a following of 940,000 on Douyin by documenting her plastic surgery journey. Features like large eyes, pronounced under-eye bags, and a small chin are highly prized in China. Wang Jing’s face is celebrated as an ideal example within the cosmetic surgery community.

Wang Jing disclosed that she spent 1 million yuan (about $138,000) to achieve her current look. She now operates her own plastic surgery clinic, using her face as a model and employing doctors to carry out the procedures.

Reports suggest that at least 500 people have visited Wang Jing’s plastic surgery clinic. On Douyin, one user commented, “Just as makeup styles can be copied, many young women aspire to replicate Wang’s baby-like face. It’s like time has stopped, giving an innocent and youthful charm.”

Another fan revealed she spent over 60,000 yuan (approximately $8,300) to achieve a similar look. She shared her experience, saying, “I’ve entered Wang Jing’s world. After investing in surgery, I feel more confident.”

However, critics have raised concerns about this trend. One user wrote, “Wang Jing is trying to build her kingdom where everyone has the same face as hers.” Another expressed, “Losing individuality, with everyone looking the same, is terrifying and eerie.
