[TV Report=Kang Seong-hoon Reporter] BTS members Jungkook and Jimin are enlisting in the military today (12th). With this, BTS officially enters a ‘military hiatus’ as all members are officially in the process of serving for their military service.

Jungkook and Jimin are enlisting together at the 5th Infantry Division training center located in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province. Their expected release date is June 11, 2025. Coincidentally, this division is where the eldest member of the group, Jin, is currently serving as a military instructor. Although the three were members of the same BTS, they are expected to reunite in the military as an instructor and trainees.

Fans showed positive reactions, saying, “It’s heartwarming to think of Instructor Jin teaching Jimin and Jungkook,” “I bet Jin will tease them a lot,” and “I was upset about their enlistment, but I’m relieved knowing that Jin will take good care of them.”

Last month, Jungkook revealed his enlistment through the fan communication platform Weverse. He promised to return to the stage as a more mature version of himself after his discharge. He also asked his fans to stay healthy, even if they can’t see him for a while.

In response to Jungkook’s serious post, Jin commented “Hahahahhaha,” showing his relaxed demeanor and eliciting laughter. Jin, who was the first BTS member to enlist, is expected to be discharged in June next year.

Previously, on the 11th, RM and V entered the Nonsan Training Center. That morning, V shared a video call screenshot with Jungkook via social media, both of them with shaved heads. Fans reacted by saying, “They both look good even with shaved heads,” and expressed their hopes for the members to complete their service healthily and without injury.
