[TV Report=Reporter Kim Hyun-jae] The music video for “Global Pop Star” Jungkook’s “Seven (feat. Latto)” hit 300 million views.

BTS’s Jungkook’s first solo single “Seven” music video surpassed 300 million views online at around 2:43 a.m. on the 12th. This achievement comes about five months after the music video was released on July 14th. The music video for “Seven,” which tells the story of proving one’s love for every moment of the week, continues to be loved by global fans for its cinematic storyline and outstanding visuals.

“Seven” is a song with an addictive melody, warm acoustic guitar sound, UK garage genre rhythm, and Jungkook’s sweet vocals, which swept the major music charts worldwide as soon as it was released, rising as a “mega-hit song”.

The song went straight to number one on the U.S. Billboard’s main song chart ‘Hot 100’ (as of July 29th) and reached rank number 3 on the UK Official Singles Chart ‘Top 100’. “Seven” also achieved 4th place in the ‘Top 10 Songs Globally’ in the ‘2023 Wrapped’ year-end campaign recently announced by Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform.

Jungkook and “Seven” were both included in the recently announced U.S. Billboard staff-selected ‘Greatest Pop Stars of 2023: Introduction & Honorable Mentions (Staff List)’ and ‘The 100 Best Songs of 2023: Staff Picks’.

Billboard praised “Seven,” saying, “This song, with its UK garage-influenced beat and Latto’s strong feature, is enough to captivate even the most stubborn pop fans in the world.”
