The ‘reverse surge’ of BTS’s Jungkook, who has become an ‘ARMY,’ continues.

According to the latest chart (as of December 30) announced by the American music specialist media Billboard on the 27th (Korean time), Jungkook’s solo album ‘GOLDEN’ rose 2 places from the previous week to 39th on the ‘Billboard 200.’ This album has been on the chart for seven consecutive weeks since it first entered 2nd place (as of November 18).

The title track of the album “Standing Next to You,” ranked 79th on this week’s ‘Hot 100’. This is a whopping 20 places jump from the previous week. This song hit 5th place on the ‘Hot 100’ in its first week of release. Moreover, it reclaimed 1st place in ‘Digital Song Sales’ and ranked 11th in ‘Global (excluding the U.S.)’ and 17th in ‘Global 200’.

Despite the worldwide onslaught of the Carol genre due to the seasonal characteristics, the rise of “Standing Next to You” stands out. This song also rose 9 places from the previous week to 88th on the latest official single chart announced in the UK on the 23rd.

With all members of BTS from RM to V, Jimin, and Jungkook enlisted this month, the group’s existing songs are once again climbing the charts. BTS’s debut song from 10 years ago “No More Dream” ranked 9th on the U.S. Billboard ‘Digital Song Sales’ chart, and the ‘World Digital Song Sales,’ “No More Dream” (1st place), “Attack on Bangtan” (4th place), “Outro: Tear” (7th place), and “Spring Day” (8th place) all made a strong showing in the upper ranks.
