Daniel Kim Views

Pop star Taylor Swift’s (34) pet cat has been revealed to be the third wealthiest cat in the world.

According to data released on the 7th (local time) by the international pet specialty site ‘All About Cats’, Taylor Swift’s pet Scottish Fold, Olivia Benson, is one of the wealthiest pets in the world.

Taylor Swift adopted Olivia Benson in 2014. Olivia Benson has appeared in Taylor Swift’s music videos and Coca-Cola commercials, earning $97 million (approximately 1.281 trillion won).

Some netizens have posted humorous comments, noting that Olivia Benson is more than twice as wealthy as Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelsey, whose assets are worth $40 million (approximately 529 billion won).

Taylor Swift is known for her love of cats. She has a total of three pet cats, including Olivia Benson, and even graced the cover of ‘Times’ magazine with her cat Benjamin Button, who she adopted in 2019, when she was selected as Person of the Year last year.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift made her debut in the music industry in 2006 with her first album, *Taylor Swift*, and is considered the most successful female musician of the 2010s. Through her ‘Eras Tour’ last October, she became a billionaire, and Forbes estimates her net worth to be $1.1 billion (approximately 1.4537 trillion won).
