Paul Dano, known for Okja, returns with the movie Dumb Money

Hollywood actor Paul Dano, familiar to us from Bong Joon Ho’s Okja, has been a long-term partner with screenwriter and actor Zoe Kazan since 2007, and they have a daughter together.

In 2019, he faced the threat of divorce. You might ask, “How can there be a divorce without a marriage?” For those curious, here’s the Twitter post by Zoe Kazan:

“Paul saw Parasite without me should I marry him just so i can divorce him?”

Zoe Kazan vented about her boyfriend, Paul, on Twitter in October 2019. She had to stay home and care for their child because they didn’t have a babysitter, even though Director Bong Joon Ho invited them to a special screening.

Zoe Kazan joked, “I guess I need to find a divorce lawyer,” but the relationship between Paul Dano and Director Bong Joon-ho is as long as Zoe Kazan’s.

In an interview, Director Bong Joon Ho said he first met Paul Dano in New York in 2006 through a mutual friend. He was impressed by Dano’s performances in Little Miss Sunshine and There Will Be Blood and promised to work together.

Director Bong Joon Ho shares, “Paul Dano is a very intelligent and good friend. He is also considerate of the director’s position and charming as a person.”

Paul Dano is a close friend and acclaimed actor who worked with Bong Joon-ho on Okja. Though not conventionally attractive, he has captivated movie fans with his excellent and unique acting in various works such as Night and Day, 12 Years a Slave, The Batman, and The Fabelmans.

Last year, he served as a jury member at the Cannes Film Festival and plans on meeting with Korean audiences on January 17 with the movie Dumb Money, a movie about the GameStop stock surge in 2021 that rocked the US stock market.

Paul Dano plays Keith Gill, a stock YouTuber called “Roaring Kitty.” He delivers a thrilling blow to the big Wall Street hedge funds that control the US economy.

While there may be individual differences in the perspective on the incident, Dumb Money, featuring the performances of notable actors like Paul Dano, Seth Rogen, America Ferrera, and Sebastian Stan, is receiving positive feedback with a freshness score of 84% and a popcorn index of 85% on Rotten Tomatoes.
