Regarding the casting of V, IU said, “V is enlisting in about a week. Despite an unbelievable schedule, we managed to make it work. It feels like I’m using all the luck I’ve accumulated over the years for this album.”

IU revealed that V’s name came up while discussing with director Eom Tae-hwa, who directed the music video for “Love Wins All.” IU explained, “Director Eom wanted a male lead who had a boyish charm and a strong and reliable vibe when awakened. We wondered who that could be, and coincidentally, I was in contact with V and thought, ‘Oh? V?’ After that, I sent him the music, and V readily agreed to participate.”

IU released the pre-released song “Love Wins All” at 6 p.m. on the 24th, and it’s receiving an enthusiastic response, topping real-time online music charts such as Melon TOP100 and HOT100, Genie, and Bugs.

In particular, the Melon TOP100 No.1 record achieved just one hour after release has become a hot topic as it is the fastest speed among female artists since the chart reform in August 2021.
