BOYNEXTDOOR Talks April Comeback: Elle Magazine Interview Unveils Plans

K-pop group BOYNEXTDOOR shared high hopes for their upcoming return in April through a magazine interview.

Elle Magazine released snippets of their editorial photos and their interview with BOYNEXTDOOR (Jaehyun, Sungho, Riwoo, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak) for their March issue on February 20. They rocked both ends of the spectrum, mastering “Boys Next Door” casual wear and sophisticated suits.

Discussing their upcoming April comeback during the photoshoot interview, BOYNEXTDOOR expressed their determination. They stated, “We have been carefully considering what type of song to present after our previous success with ‘But Sometimes,’ aiming to establish ourselves as a ‘dependable team further.’ We hope listeners will hear the effort we’ve put in and our continued commitment to being BOYNEXTDOOR.”

Debuting only last May, BOYNEXTDOOR shared how live performances have accelerated their development. Sungho stated, “The emotional impact of performing live is undeniable.” Riwoo emphasized the value of experience, saying, “Initially, we required extensive guidance, but now we collaborate effectively and command the stage independently.” Leehan concluded, “Reviewing my early performance videos reveals a remarkable evolution in both my artistic mindset and technical skills.”

Recipients of eight awards during their debut year, BOYNEXTDOOR, expressed their sincere feelings and gratitude regarding their first award season. Jaehyun stated, “Both the team and I have made significant progress. I have overcome the pressure of precise execution and now embrace the joy of performing.” Taesan shared, “Through these valuable experiences, I have been able to explore various expressions and master numerous technical aspects continuously.” Woonhak expressed his profound thoughts, stating, “I have learned a great deal by observing the stage performances of our seniors. Witnessing their journeys and their stage presence fills me with a sense of admiration.”

BOYNEXTDOOR was recently selected as part of the Grammy’s “11 Rookie K-Pop Acts To Know In 2024”. They aalsowere invited to “The 38th Mynavi TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION 2024 SPRING/SUMMER” as the main artists, which is set to take place on March 2.
