Zendaya shared her impressions of visiting Korea for the Dune: Part 2 press tour.

Zendaya expressed gratitude for the fans’ warm welcome, sharing, “So many people gave me beautiful letters at the airport, I haven’t been able to read them all,” while at the film’s press conference held at the Conrad Hotel in Seoul on February 21.

Zendaya continued, “Despite cultural differences, we share a bond. Meeting you all means the world, and your kindness humbles me. The handwritten letters, artistic gifts, and delicious snacks were thoughtful tokens I’ll truly cherish.”

She added, “This Korean welcome is unlike anything I’ve experienced. I’m even treated better here than at my mom’s house! I wish I could stay longer and soak it all in. So far, Korea has been magical.”

Stellan Skarsgård joked with the media, sharing, “Guess I missed the fan frenzy! I arrived after the other actors, and the airport was a ghost town.” He further made everyone laugh with a playful, “No Korean designer threads for me today, sadly, but hey, I’m still happy!” in response to a question about Timothée and Zendaya’s fashion choices.

Austin Butler shared his arrival experience, “Flying with Timothée, we were met with enthusiastic fans. Sadly, Stellan seems to have missed the crowd!” He continued with a smile, “But I was lucky enough to receive warm welcomes and even see amazing fan art! Feeling truly blessed.”

In Dune: Part 2, Timothée Chalamet’s Paul, fully realizing his powers, embraces his destiny as a warrior on a vengeful quest. Director Denis Villeneuve unveils the next chapter in his stunning vision of the Dune universe, a spectacle beyond imagination.

Director Denis Villeneuve made his Hollywood debut with an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film “Incendies.” He also directed Sicario and Arrival and is currently receiving praise for his vision and execution as the director of Dune.

This is the first time in five years that Timothée Chalamet has visited Korea since the 2019 Busan International Film Festival alongside Dune cast members Zendaya, Austin Butler, Stellan Skarsgård, and director Denis Villeneuve.

Dune: Part 2 will be released on February 28.
