On March 1, Chanel announced BLACKPINK Jennie as the new muse for Première Original Édition Watch.

A long-standing Chanel muse, Jennie has been a brand ambassador for the fashion house since 2017. In 2022, her role with Chanel grew even more vital as she was named the muse and house ambassador for their iconic Coco Crush jewelry collection.

First introduced by Chanel in 1987, the Première watch embodies the brand’s signature style. Its octagonal case mirrors the iconic stopper of Chanel No. 5 perfume, finished in sleek black lacquer. The watch incorporates leather and chain reminiscent of Chanel’s legendary handbags to complete this unique blend of heritage and modern design. In October 2022, the watch celebrated its 35th anniversary with a re-release – the Première Édition Originale.

Directed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the 2024 Première campaign showcases Jennie’s captivating and powerful charm against a classic Parisian interior.
