BABYMONSTER’s Ahyeon shared her thoughts about her nickname, “Little Jennie.”

To celebrate the highly anticipated debut of YG Entertainment’s newest girl group, BABYMONSTER (Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora), a celebratory interview was held on April 1 at their new headquarters. The occasion marked the release of their first mini album, BABYMONS7ER.

Ahyeon commented on her nickname, “Little Jennie,” saying, “Jennie has been my idol since I was a trainee.”

She continued, “She’s my role model and the one who inspires me most. It’s an honor to be called ‘Little Jennie.'”

She also expressed her determination by saying, “I want to do well as a junior to my seniors, and I want to become an artist who finds her color, like Jennie, for our fans.”

BABYMONSTER officially opened their community on the global fandom platform Weverse at noon that day and began full-fledged communication with their fans.
