LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon has embarked on her first musical collaboration since her debut.

Chaewon will appear on American singer-songwriter Tori Kelly’s new album track “Spruce (feat. KIM CHAEWON of LE SSERAFIM),” which will be released on April 5.

“It was an honor and a privilege to perform a song by Tori Kelly, an artist I admire,” said Chaewon. I loved the song from the moment I first heard it, and I couldn’t wait to sing it. I remember eagerly counting down the days until the recording session.”

Tori Kelly also drew attention in an interview with UK music magazine NME, where she mentioned her collaboration with Chaewon. “Chaewon happily participated in ‘Spruce,’ and she was amazing. We worked on the song remotely. Kim Chaewon sent me her verse, which was astonishing. It was perfect and needed no adjustments,” she highly praised.

Kim Chaewon, known for her sweet and clear vocals, has stood out among fans. Her cover of Utada Hikaru’s “First Love,” uploaded to LE SSERAFIM’s official YouTube channel, has garnered 25 million views as of April 4 at 7 AM.

Tori Kelly, a singer-songwriter who received acclaim for her musicality, including winning two awards at the 61st Grammy Awards with her 2018 album Hiding Place, is drawing attention for the synergy she will create with the two artists.

LE SSERAFIM will perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the U.S., on April 13 and 20. Since its debut, LE SSERAFIM has become the fastest Korean artist to hold a solo performance at this festival.
