Nile Rodgers also made a surprise appearance as a guest, and the outfits specially made for them by Louis Vuitton caught the eye.

“On a night our dreams came true, it will be an unforgettable memory,” said girl group LE SSERAFIM after completing their debut performance at Coachella, the largest music festival in the United States.

Their stage, marked by intense charisma, was met with full audience participation through sing-alongs and coordinated dances. Comprising members Kim Chae Won, Sakura, Huh Yun Jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun Chae, LE SSERAFIM performed approximately 40 minutes of 10 songs on the Sahara Stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on the 13th (local time).

Interest in LE SSERAFIM was high even before the show started. Posts with the hashtag ‘#FIMCHELLA’ (a portmanteau of LE SSERAFIM and Coachella) spread rapidly on social media. Crowds gathered in the Indio desert, the venue for the performance, to see LE SSERAFIM’s stage.

The atmosphere at the venue was lively, with flags featuring the faces of the five members and LE SSERAFIM’s official light sticks seen everywhere. When the LE SSERAFIM logo appeared on the large LED screen at the Sahara Stage, the audience erupted in cheers.

In response, LE SSERAFIM kicked off their performance with “ANTIFRAGILE,” “FEARLESS,” and “The Great Mermaid.” The group captivated fans by performing live to band arrangements and showcasing their performance skills.

The atmosphere heated up even more when LE SSERAFIM debuted an unreleased song specially prepared for Coachella, “1-800-hot-n-fun.” The members showcased rhythmic rapping and flaunted a hip vibe. Although it was the first public performance of the song, the audience at Coachella cheered loudly and enjoyed the performance by riding the rhythm.

The highlight of the show was the “UNFORGIVEN” stage. American musician Nile Rodgers, who played the guitar for this song, made a surprise appearance as a guest. The “UNFORGIVEN” stage started with Rodgers’ performance. LE SSERAFIM perfectly matched the legendary musician, driving the performance forward.

Subsequently, stages for hit songs beloved on the American Billboard charts, such as “Eve, Psyche and Bluebeard’s Wife,” “Perfect Night,” “Smart,” and “EASY” unfolded. The audience responded with even louder sing-alongs and dance-alongs than before.

LE SSERAFIM concluded the performance with “Fire in the Belly.” The group expressed their gratitude, saying, “Thank you for the wonderful memories. The heat of Coachella was incredible. We will never forget this night. Today is the day our dream” came true.” LE SSERAFIM is scheduled to perform again at Coachella on the 20th.

In addition, LE SSERAFIM wore outfits specially designed by Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director, Nicolas Ghesquière, for the Coachella performance.
