Kim Ha-seong (28·San Diego Padres) has become the first Korean player to win the Gold Glove, an award given to the best player in each position in Major League Baseball (MLB).

He was named the winner of the Gold Glove in the National League utility infielder category in the list of 2023 MLB Gold Glove winners announced on the 6th (Korean time).

Kim Ha-seong has shown solid defense in all infield positions except first base, including his main position, second base, third base, and shortstop. He has become the first Korean Big Leaguer to wear the Golden Glove in the utility infielder category.
