Fans worldwide are still mourning the death of famous actor Matthew Perry. Amid this, former SNL writer and comedian Kevin Brennan has enraged fans by mocking the late actor.

Recently, Kevin Brennan shared a news article about Matthew Perry’s death on his social media. He added, “DROWNED IN A HOT TUB. HAHAHAHA”

Netizens harshly criticized his remarks, calling them insensitive and disrespectful. They expressed negative reactions such as “Don’t disrespect the deceased,” “Do you find this amusing?” and “Do you enjoy being criticized?”

In response to a question asking why he found the actor’s drowning in a bathtub amusing, Brennan replied, “Because the tub isn’t that deep.” He dismissed the criticism and expressed his inability to understand the netizens’ point of view.

Brennan claimed that he was not mocking the late actor’s death but expressing a shallow opinion, adding that he really enjoys it when drug addicts die. Matthew Perry had previously confessed to being addicted to opioids.

Kevin Brennan is the brother of Neil Brennan, the creator of the popular local comedy show Chappelle’s Show. However, it is reported that he does not have a good relationship with his brother.

Meanwhile, Matthew Perry was found drowned in his bathtub at home on the 28th of last month. As soon as the 911 paramedics arrived, they pulled out Matthew Perry, but the diagnosis showed that he was already dead. It was reported that CPR was not performed as it was not a situation that could be medically handled.

Matthew Perry received much love for a long time for his role as Chandler Bing in the popular NBC sitcom Friends.
