Ms. A not only smoking and drinking during the broadcast but also received cash-like items as gifts from viewers. She even exposed her body, asking, “How many did you give me? 500?”

Civil servant Mr. B, who reported after watching his adult broadcast, told YTN, “Nearly 1,000 people were watching. She (Ms. A) repeatedly admitted that she was a civil servant and broadcasted. It was very embarrassing and shocking.”

It was reported that Ms. A is an extraordinary judicial police officer with investigative authority.

The department that received the report examines whether Ms. A violated the duty to maintain dignity under the Civil Servant Act and violated professional ethics.

According to the national civil service duty regulations, holding a second job is prohibited, and even if permission is granted, activities must be carried out within the scope of maintaining the duties of a civil servant.

In response to this controversy, Ms. A explained, “I only worked as a broadcaster until I received my appointment after being appointed as a civil servant.” However, the status of a civil servant applies immediately after the appointment.

The department said, “As soon as the audit of Ms. A is completed, we plan to set up a disciplinary committee,” and “We will determine the level of discipline based on the facts.”
