Recently, reports of the Elon Musk movie have surfaced in Reuters and U.S. entertainment media Variety. The film production company A24 is said to have purchased the rights to Walter Isaacson’s book Elon Musk, published last September.

Isaacson’s biography of Musk includes his childhood hardships, his startup founding process in his youth, his love life, the process of growing Tesla and SpaceX, and the background of acquiring Twitter.

A24 has consistently produced outstanding works such as the films Minari and Moonlight.

The direction of the Musk biopic will be handled by Darren Aronofsky, a director famous for producing works with excellent psychological depictions, such as Black Swan, Mother!, and Requiem for a Dream.

There is no word yet on who will play Musk.

Musk wrote in a comment on the Daily News of social media X (formerly Twitter), which announced the news of his biography being turned into a film, “I’m happy that Darren is directing.”
