BTS Jungkook’s Dramatic Buzz Cut Before Enlistment: Can He Pull it Off?

tvreport Views

Members of the ‘world-class’ group BTS – RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – have revealed their freshly cut hair ahead of their military enlistment.

On the 5th, RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook hosted a live broadcast through a fan communication platform, Weverse. Anticipating their enlistment, they greeted fans, saying, “We will spend the next year and a half with a joyful heart and return.”

While RM has maintained a shaved hairstyle for some time, V revealed his hair cut short to the eyebrows, a departure from his previous long hairstyle. It seems that Jimin will most likely cut his hair as well.

In the case of Jungkook, curiosity grew as he covered his head with a hat and hoodie. Towards the end of a live broadcast, he revealed his buzz cut to ARMY (fan club) with a big ‘surprise.’ Despite the momentary and blurry glimpse, his handsome vibes were evident. Jungkook seemed a bit shy about showing his short hair to fans

Fans responded positively, saying, “He’s trying to lighten the fans’ hearts until the end,” “Please go and return safely without getting hurt,” and “He has a nice head shape so that he will look good even with a shaved head.”

On the upcoming 11th, RM and V will enlist at the Nonsan Training Center. It has been reported that V applied to the Capital Defense Special Task Force. The next day, on the 12th, Jimin and Jungkook will enlist in the 5th Division. This is the same unit where Jin, the oldest member of BTS who enlisted earlier, currently serves as an assistant instructor.

BTS is now officially on a military hiatus. Among the members, Jin is expected to be the first member to be discharged in June next year. J-Hope will be discharged in October of the same year, and the rest of the seven members will reunite in June 2025.
