Singer Wang Jyun Hao, a former trainee of YG Entertainment, is drawing attention for his negative comments about Korean entertainment agencies during an interview with Taiwanese media.

On the 14th (local time), Taiwanese media ETtoday interviewed Wang Jyun Hao, a member of the Japanese idol group BUGVEL. Wang Jyun Hao, a former YG Entertainment trainee, has gained fame in Korea through his appearances on various survival programs.

Wang Jyun Hao reflected on his trainee days, saying, “There are different ways of training trainees between Korea and Japan. They were too strict in Korea. Sometimes it’s inhumane.” He added, “One day, I wanted to buy a Coke from a convenience store and tried to sneak out with another trainee pretending to take out the trash, but we got caught the next day and got scolded.” Wang Jyun Hao also shared his hardships as a trainee, saying, “Unless you’re with a big agency, you have to receive an allowance from your parents. Even right after debuting, if you’re with a big agency, you still need help from your parents.”

Wang Jyun Hao, who debuted in Japan with the idol group BUGVEL in 2022, candidly answered, “I’m not satisfied with (my achievement in BUGVEL). If I feel satisfied, I should stop being an artist.”

Wang Jyun Hao, who is originally from Taiwan, expressed his gratitude, saying, “It’s difficult to communicate with Taiwanese fans while working in Japan, but I’m happy that they always support me.” He said, “I was swamped last year,” and announced his plans, saying, “I’m planning to release a new song in March.”

Meanwhile, Wang Jyun Hao felt the bitterness of elimination on YG Entertainment’s rookie boy group TREASURE’s debut survival program JTBC2’s “YG Treasure Box” in 2018 and appeared on tvN’s “Produce X 101” in 2019, but was eliminated.
