The Air Force announced on the 6th that it had conducted the 2nd PISU training at the 11th Fighter Wing.

The PISU training is an air training planned independently by the 11th Fighter Wing and was first conducted last month. It was named after the English expression Punish Immediately, Strongly, Until the End.

The training was conducted assuming that the enemy fired many cruise missiles south of the Northern Limit Line (NLL) and infiltrated aircraft. The soldiers conducted training to identify and intercept enemy missiles and also trained to respond to situations where the detection of targets is limited. In addition, the F-15K fighter jet took off to respond to the enemy’s aircraft.

Wing Commander Koo Sang Mo said, “As a spearhead unit operating the core power of the Air Force, we will firmly establish a decisive stance to respond strongly to any enemy provocations.”
