M3 MacBook Air Finally Unveiled, “It’s 13x Faster Than Its Predecessor”

Following the release of the M3 MacBook Pro last October, the latest MacBook Air equipped with the M3 chip was finally unveiled on the 4th.

The new MacBook Air uses a 3-nanometer-based M3 chipset, making it 60% faster than the previous M1 model, and 13 times faster than the previous Intel models.

Additionally, the heat dissipation issue, which was inevitable due to the lack of fans in MacBook Air, has been improved. The 3-nanometer process used in the M3 chip can bring out high performance with lower power, so the heat generation issue has been noticeably reduced.

The most noticeable change for users is most likely the support of external monitors. Unlike the previous model, where only one external monitor was supported, the M3 MacBook Air supports up to two monitors.

This change is welcoming to many, as more and more people are using dual or even triple monitors to work.

With the release of the M3 MacBook Air, the M1 MacBook Air, which opened the show for the M series, is being discontinued. As a result, the price of the M2 MacBook Air has been lowered to 1.39 million won (approximately $1,165), and the M3 MacBook Air is priced at the previous cost of the M2 MacBook Air, with the 13-inch model at 1.59 million won (approximately $1,330), and the 15-inch model at 1.89 million won (approximately $1,580).

The colors of the products are the same as before, with a total of four options: Space Gray, Starlight, Silver, and Midnight.

The newly released MacBook Air is equipped with an M3 chip and showcases excellent performance for its price. It is expected to be released around mid-April in South Korea.
