Trump Blasts North Korea’s Actions, Promises to Be the One to Fix It

Former President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, claimed on Tuesday that he is the only one to resolve the situation following North Korea’s demolition of a road connecting the two Koreas.

In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump stated, “North Korea just blew up the railway going to South Korea. Here we go, this is BAD NEWS!”

He continued by asserting, “Only Trump can solve this.” This statement seems to highlight his diplomatic skills amid growing tensions on the Korean Peninsula as the election approaches.

Throughout his campaign, Trump has consistently touted his handling of North Korean crises during his presidency. In a recent Fox News interview on the weekend, he highlighted his strong relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, noting that they “got along very well.” Similarly, during a speech at the Detroit Economic Club on October 10, Trump reiterated that his diplomatic efforts had prevented major issues with North Korea during his time in office, claiming there were no crises “without threatened feelings.”

As North Korea continues its provocative actions, Trump has again highlighted his deterrent capabilities by directly referencing these incidents.

Meanwhile, at around noon KST, North Korean troops set up a barrier just about 33 ft (10 meters) from the Military Demarcation Line (MDL). They blew up the roads connecting the Gyeongui Line and Donghae Line without prior notice.
