Renowned for creating iconic residential landmarks across the country, Daewoo E&C’s upscale apartments have consistently redefined urban living standards.

The company’s Summit journey began in 2014 with the launch of Yongsan Prugio Summit, which introduced cutting-edge design features and premium finishes.

This project gained unexpected attention due to an unofficial celebrity endorsement.

The complex garnered international spotlight when Blackpink’s Rose was revealed as a resident, following the viral success of her solo track “APT,” which sparked global interest in Korean high-rise living.

Daewoo E&C further cemented its signature approach with Seocho Prugio Summit, a reconstruction of the old Samho First Apartment in Seocho, southern Seoul.

This development pioneered the concept of a sky community in Korea, featuring a bridge between towers housing shared amenities like a book cafe and fitness center.

Breaking from conventional penthouse strategies focused on profit maximization, Daewoo E&C installed community facilities on the top floor, offering breathtaking views of Gangnam.

Another milestone was the Gwacheon Prugio Summit, built on the site of the former Gwacheon Jugong Complex 1.

The project outshone Gangnam’s elite apartments, earning the moniker “Gwacheon over Gangnam,” and became one of Gyeonggi Province’s most coveted addresses.

Daewoo E&C implemented an innovative post-sale strategy, waiting until 60 percent of construction was complete before selling units.

This approach aimed to maximize returns for cooperative members, resulting in an average profit of nearly 200 million KRW ($144,000) per household.

Building on this success, the company launched Blanc Summit 74 in Busan’s North Port redevelopment zone in 2023, selling out all apartments and officetels within months despite challenging market conditions.

Now, Daewoo E&C is setting its sights on the Gaepo Useong Seventh Apartment in southern Seoul’s Gaepo redevelopment area.

The company’s proposal features premium custom layouts, private elevators for each unit line, an 80-meter-long sky bridge – the longest in the area – and an automated food waste disposal system, positioning itself to deliver the next residential landmark.

Daewoo E&C has also offered attractive financial terms, including a CD-based interest rate with zero spread on essential project costs.

“As Korea’s leading provider of premium residential products in the private sector, we are fully prepared to deliver a masterpiece that showcases our years of construction expertise and distinguished designs,” a Daewoo E&C spokesperson stated.

“Our goal extends beyond building homes; we aim to drive the success of the cooperative’s project through optimal financial strategies and premium living solutions.”
