Arrest warrants issued for 48 suspects brought from Cambodia

(Yonhap)Arrest warrants have been issued for 48 suspects brought from Cambodia over their alleged involvement in online scam rings, police said Tuesday.

The 48 are among 64 South Koreans who were repatriated from Cambodia on Saturday. One was arrested immediately with a pre-issued warrant, five were released shortly after their arrival, and arrest warrant hearings are scheduled for the remaining 10 later Tuesday, the police said. (Yonhap)
