The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas is once again attracting attention after being featured on Rain’s YouTube channel, “Season B Season.”
At the time, Rain enjoyed a staycation at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas.
He visited the top-floor suite on the 32nd floor of the hotel, the Club Presidential Suite.

Rain was surprised to hear that the room rate was 18,150,000 won ($16,000) per night at check-in.
He asked, “Are there Koreans who use the top suite?” To which the staff responded, “Yes, celebrities,” and mentioned that BTS also uses the room.

This place is also known as the regular accommodation for world-renowned soprano Jo Su-mi when she visits Korea.

The Club Presidential Suite has housed domestic and international leaders, including former Chinese President Hu Jintao during the 2012 Nuclear Security Summit.

Netizens reacted to the video with comments like, “Wow, I’m satisfied just by looking at the $16,000 suite,” “Oh, it looks like the place I saw in BTS members’ personal videos,” and “I’m short by 500 won ($0.44) to go there.”

When using this suite, you can check in privately at the club lounge.
The Presidential Suite is a single room prepared for world-renowned dignitaries and VIPs.
It boasts an open space with a large size of 3,260 square feet and a ceiling height of 13 feet.

The suite consists of a bedroom, living room, and bathroom, with a separate guest toilet in the bedroom.
You can enjoy views of Tehran Road and Bongeunsa Temple from the front and back of the room.
Upon entering the suite, you can move to the interior through the corridor space.

The living room, made of floor-to-ceiling windows, offers a refreshing view as if it’s wide open.
It is equipped with a 77-inch large TV, wine cellar, eight-person dining table, library, and is decorated with luxurious interiors.
You can also find works by famous artists in the suite.

The suite’s amenities include products from the French high-end luxury brand Hermès.
The highest quality bedding made from premium Polish goose feathers is also prepared to ensure the most comfortable sleep.
Guests can choose from a variety of pillows and non-allergic bedding is provided upon request.
Bathrobes made of terry cloth and Le Petit Prince children’s bath products are also available upon request.

Although the room is priced at $8,800 per night, additional services are charged.
You can request dry cleaning, fruit baskets, and flower baskets.

The Club Presidential Suite, which costs $16,000 per night, is equipped with outstanding facilities.
It consists of facilities that you can’t even imagine in other rooms.
The biggest feature of the Club Presidential Suite is that it has a private treatment room inside the suite.

You can use Technogym treadmills and even a Finnish-style dry sauna in the room.
The suite is surprising as it is equipped with facilities where you can exercise and relieve fatigue.
A hotel official explained, “The most requested by suite guests over the 30 years of hotel operation was a private exercise space, so we created a separate exercise room in 2020.”

Club Presidential Suite guests can use the ‘Club InterContinental,’ a private space.
Located on the 34th floor, this place cooks various dishes on the spot.

③ Package Product Launched for the First Time in 33 Years Since Opening

Meanwhile, the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas launched a package for the Presidential Suite for the first time in 33 years since the hotel opened last year.
The package price was $8,800 at the time, which was considered unprecedented.
The hotel’s top suite was usually open only to dignitaries and VIPs, both domestic and foreign.
It’s hard to find a case where it was packaged for the general public.

The top suite is a room that measures the competitiveness of the hotel.
The room price of $8,800 per night is not a cheap price to pay, so the hotel was reluctant to expose the interior and room composition to the outside.
However, as the spread of COVID-19 increased the number of people looking for luxury hotels, suites also began to attract attention.

The suite package of the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas at the time included a private pick-up, exclusive use of a yacht at Banpo Han River Park, a hotel fine dining dinner worth $350 per person, and Dom Perignon.
It garnered attention for offering the opportunity to use luxurious facilities in a luxurious place.
Despite the high price, there were quite a few phone inquiries as soon as the room package was released.
