Known for his youthful appearance, Singaporean actor and photographer Chuando Tan (58) has shared his secret to maintaining his looks.

According to the South China Morning Post (SCMP) and other media outlets, on June 13, Tan started his career as a model in the 1980s and began working as a fashion photographer about 10 years ago. Tan is known to be born in 1966.

As he pursued his career in photography, he created a social media account, which quickly gained popularity due to his youthful and attractive looks. Currently, his Instagram account has over 1.53 million followers.

In an interview with The Straits Times of Singapore, Tan explained, “What we eat has a significant impact on our appearance.” His typical breakfast consists of six hard-boiled eggs, and to maintain his cholesterol levels, he discards two of the yolks. He also revealed that he completely abstains from alcohol and smoking.

Tan shared, “I avoid coffee and tea and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated,” and added, “My favorite foods are protein-rich meals and clear soups with vegetables.” He emphasized, “As for exercise, I swim daily and enjoy walking on a treadmill. Strength training is also a must.”

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) in the U.S. has stated that a lack of hydration in the body can accelerate aging.
