Squid Game Fans: Don’t Miss the 4.56K Run in LA for a Shot at Season 2 Tickets

Daniel Kim Views

Netflix will host the Squid Game 4.56K Run in Los Angeles, California, on December 12.

This event is part of the promotion for the highly anticipated release of Squid Game Season 2, which will premiere on December 26. Earlier, Netflix held a large-scale ‘Mugunghwa Flower Has Bloomed’ game on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, France, on December 1, where 456 participants joined the challenge with “Younghee” as the tagger.

The Squid Game 4.56K Run in Los Angeles will see participants running 4.56 kilometers. The theme of the event, “Competing for Tickets to the Squid Game Season 2 Premiere,” will feature elimination challenges throughout the run, although details on these challenges remain under wraps. However, all finishers will receive tickets to the Squid Game Season 2 premiere at a nearby theater.

The opening ceremony will include appearances by Squid Game cast members, including Lee Jung Jae and Lee Byung Hun. The competition begins at 8 PM and will last about an hour and a half, with participants heading to the premiere venue around 10 PM.

In addition to the run, attendees can enjoy various activities, including photo booths, live performances, a night market, and games. Local Korean restaurants in Koreatown—such as Beverly Tofu, Kogi, Bobatime, and Gimbap Cheonguk—will participate in setting up the night market.

The event is free to enter, with admission on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 6 PM on the day of the event. Up to 2,000 participants can attend and receive free workout gear.
