Hyundai Slashes Prices for IONIQ 5/6: Electric Car Deals Await U.S. Customers

globalautonews Views

Hyundai Motor Company is offering a ChargePoint L2 HomeFlex Charger worth $549 and a $600 installation credit to those who lease or purchase the 2023 or 2024 models of Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 in the U.S. market until October 31.

However, this time, they have significantly reduced the price of the 2024 Ioniq 6 model. The SE Standard price, $41,600, will start from $38,615 for the 2024 model. They have cut the prices of higher models by $2,450 to $3,050. Hyundai stated that the price reduction is due to achieving production efficiency and economies of scale.

The cheapest Ioniq 6, the SE Standard Range RWD, starts from $38,615. It is equipped with a 53kWh battery and has a driving range of 240 miles (about 384 km).

All other trims have a 77.4kWh battery and a driving range of 270 to 361 miles. The Ioniq 6 RWD SE has a driving range of 361 miles (about 577 km) and starts from $43,565. The AWD is priced at $47,065, with both models being reduced by over $3,000.

The upper trims, such as the SEL and Limited, are reduced by $2,450.
