LG’s Grand Showcase 2024: A New Chapter in Middle East and Africa

LG Electronics is accelerating its market strategy in the Middle East and Africa through close local communication.

LG Electronics announced it held the ‘LG Showcase 2024’ in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), from the 24th to the 25th (local time).

The LG Showcase is a regionally focused product launch event communicating with local customers and partners. This year’s event, held under the theme ‘Reinvent Together,’ was the largest ever. About 500 people, including business associates and partners from the Middle East and Africa, attended.

LG Electronics set up a main exhibition hall of 1,000 square meters (approximately 10,764 square feet). They showcased innovative life solutions that connect and expand customer experiences in all spaces where customers live.

LG Electronics held consultations and meetings with business associates and partners and discussed cooperation plans and future strategies in various fields, such as content business and business-to-business (B2B).

LG Electronics achieved sales of 3.2873 trillion won (approximately $2.76 billion) in the Middle East and Africa region last year, centered on production bases located in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. This is a 52.7% increase compared to five years ago.

LG Electronics plans to actively participate in local government-led B2B businesses tailored to regional characteristics. The Company intends to use the technology accumulated so far in local B2B projects to secure business opportunities in a wide range of fields, including optimized home appliances, TV, and IT, as well as mobility, robots, air solutions, and commercial displays.

Il Hwan Lee, LG Electronics’ representative in the Middle East and Africa region, said, “We will strengthen cooperation with local partners to sustain growth and leap forward as a true smart life solution company.”
