Explore the Features of ‘Hyundai Ioniq 6: ‘Electric Car of the Year’

[The Guru = Yoon Jin Woong Reporter] Hyundai’s Ioniq 6 has been nominated for ‘Electric Car of the Year 2023’ by the American automotive magazine ‘The Driver’.

‘The Driver’ conducted rigorous evaluations of recently launched electric vehicle models including the Ioniq 6, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, and others. The Ioniq 6 stood out from the competition and was chosen as the best electric vehicle.

The evaluation was conducted by ‘The Driver’ editors, focusing on vehicle value, driving tests, innovative technologies applied to the vehicle, and driving pleasure.

Kyle Cheromcha, Editor-in-Chief of ‘The Driver’, said, “The Ioniq 6’s award proves that Hyundai is at the forefront of the global electric vehicle market.” He praised the Ioniq 6, calling it a “vehicle with excellent product quality and technical skills, including fast charging speed and superior driving performance.”

Ricky Lao, Head of Product Planning at Hyundai Motor America, said, “We have been recognized for the countless efforts we have put into completing the innovative Ioniq 6.” He added, “This award will serve as a driving force for Hyundai to emerge as a global leader in the era of electrification and advance as a smart mobility solution provider.”
