BTS Members Express Diverse Thoughts Upon Their Enlistment

tvreport Views

[TV Report=An Soo-Hyun Reporter] As BTS members V, RM, Jin, J-Hope, and Suga begin their military service, each member’s thoughts about their enlistment are attracting the attention of fans.

On the 11th, V and RM entered the Nonsan Training Center in Chungnam to receive basic military training for a certain period. After completing their training, they plan to begin their military service as active duty soldiers.

Before enlisting, V left a cheerful message on the fan community Weverse, saying, “Let’s create precious memories as we always have, and then create more when I return. I will miss you. I love you. So, you have to wait until then. I’ll be back soon! Goodbye!”

RM also shared a simple enlistment sentiment, stating, ‘Watching them handle things so bravely even at this late hour gives me even more courage. I believe that these 18 months, whether long or short, will be a time of unfamiliar yet new inspiration and learning for all of us”

Jin, the eldest member of BTS, was the first to enlist in December last year. At that time, he shared a photo of his shaved head with a short message saying, “Now it’s curtain call time.” Jin then left a witty comment saying, “Cuter than expected,” which caused laughter. During his basic training period, Jin excelled in leadership and task execution, serving as a platoon leader trainee, and was later selected as an assistant. Jin continues his military service as an assistant at the 5th Division Recruit Training Battalion where he completed his training.

J-Hope began his military service in Gangwon in April this year. At that time, he posted a message on Weverse saying, “I love you, ARMY. I’ll be back soon.” J-Hope also shared his enlistment sentiments through a live broadcast, saying, “A week ago, I didn’t know what to do, but now I’m okay to the point where I wonder ‘Can I really be this okay?’ So don’t worry too much.” Like Jin, J-Hope was also selected as an assistant. He is expected to spend the rest of his military service as an assistant at the 36th Division New Education Battalion.

Suga has been working as a social service agent since September this year. At that time, Suga left a sweet comment for fans on Weverse, saying, “It’s not something to cry about. Didn’t we agree to meet in 2025? Sadly, I can’t do anything for 2 years, but we have a promise. I’ve filmed a lot of ‘Shu-chi-ta’ content, so please look forward to it.”

Meanwhile, all BTS members showed their strong friendship by being together at the enlistment site of V and RM in the afternoon of the day. Jimin and Jungkook will enlist on the 12th, and with this, BTS will fully enter the ‘military hiatus’ through ‘all members enlistment’. BTS members and their agency are reportedly hoping to resume full-group activities in 2025.
