tvreport Views

The net worth of ‘Christmas Queen’ Mariah Carey (54) has been revealed.

On the 24th the financial media website ‘Investopedia’ reported that Mariah Carey’s net worth is $350 million (approximately 4.546 trillion KRW). The media outlet cited reports from specialist sites such as ‘Celebrity Net Worth’, ‘The Economist’, and ‘Billboard’.

According to the report, Mariah Carey earns $2.5 million (approximately 32 billion KRW) annually from her Christmas carol “All I Want For Christmas Is You”. It is projected that she will have earned over $700 million from this carol alone since its release in 1994.

“All I Want For Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey is considered the most successful carol in history. This carol not only climbs the music charts as the weather gets cold, but it also consistently ranks first on the music charts every Christmas season.

As of the 26th, this carol ranked first on the Billboard ‘Hot 100’ and second on the daily chart of Melon, South Korea’s largest music platform on the 24th. Despite being a song from the 1990s it is the most streamed song every Christmas season both domestically and abroad.

Meanwhile, Mariah Carey completed her ‘Merry Christmas One and All!’ tour that began last month. The future activities of the Christmas queen are attracting attention.
