‘Search 3: Death Game’ Confirmed for January Release

The thrilling series ‘Search’, titled ‘Search 3: Death Game’ has confirmed its release for January 2024 and unveiled its main poster.

The film ‘Search 3: Death Game’ is a screen life thriller that follows ‘Dana’, who participates in a deadly challenge trending on social media the ‘Blue Whale Game’ to unravel the truth behind her younger sister’s sudden death.

This new work is from producer Timur Bekmambetov who created the sensation ‘Search’ and its sequel ‘Search 2’ which shocked audiences with its larger scale, locations, and upgraded technology. ‘Search’ became a global sensation and achieved box office success in Korea attracting 2.95 million viewers with its fresh screenlife genre technique.

The film is the feature debut of director Anna Zyaytseva who has gained attention for her high-quality trendy directing style. Her short film in Russian ‘Sama Dura!’ has garnered the most views among Russian short films on YouTube exceeding 35 million views. It was invited to 52 prestigious film festivals worldwide and won more than 16 awards. She also directed a hit teen web series of the same name which recorded 45 million views and garnered much attention.

The main poster released along with the news of the film’s release centers around the protagonist ‘Dana’, with mobile screens depicting the screen life genre, amplifying the anticipation for the film. From photos capturing the happy times of sisters ‘Dana’ and ‘Yulia’ to chilling chats with the masked instigator of the ‘Blue Whale Game’ live broadcasts documenting the death challenge and call records suggesting tense situations, the various digital device screens hint at the unpredictable death challenge in the movie, stimulating curiosity.

Meanwhile, ‘Search 3: Death Game’ which heralds the birth of a well-made screenlife thriller with the participation of the veteran production team from the ‘Search’ series is set to be released in January 2024.
