The Walt Disney Company announced that many planned projects had been canceled during the studio restructuring process. Walt Disney Company (from now on referred to as Disney) CEO Bob Iger stated on the 5th (local time) at an investor conference Q&A session in San Francisco, USA, “We have already discarded a few projects that we thought weren’t so strong.”

On this day, Bob Iger explained, “When discussing possible project improvements, we have three approaches. The first one is to cut off projects that have lost trust. Of course, it’s not an easy task to do in business. We have to consider the expenses and the relationship with our employees. It’s certainly not an easy task, but at the same time, it’s one of the choices we must make.”

He added, “We have given such tough orders. But we have no plans of publicly disclosing them.”

Meanwhile, Disney is undergoing a major studio restructuring due to poor sales. On the 26th
