Bloomberg reported on the 23rd (local time) that the value of SpaceX, the space company led by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, has been valued to be about $200 billion.
It was reported that SpaceX plans to sell insider stocks at a price between $108 and $110 per share through a tender offer, meaning the company is valued at $200 billion.
A $200 billion valuation puts the company in the top five in the world in terms of market capitalization. The only companies that have exceeded a market capitalization of $200 billion are Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia, and Google’s parent company, Alphabet.
Musk stated that SpaceX does not need additional capital through X, and will buy back its shares.
