2025 Tech Preview: 5 Apple Products We Can’t Wait for This Year

Five new Apple products expected in the first half of 2025 are stirring excitement among tech enthusiasts. BGR, a leading tech news platform, revealed that Apple is preparing to unveil these key innovations in a steady rollout starting early next year.

The lineup includes the M4 MacBook Air, iPhone SE4, and the 11th-generation iPad, drawing attention for their anticipated features and upgrades.

1. AirTag2

The AirTag 2 plans to begin the series of launches in early 2025. Nearly four years after its original release, the second-generation AirTag is rumored to feature a stronger chip and an enhanced speaker for better location tracking and audio performance. However, details regarding design changes remain undisclosed.

2. iPhone SE4

The iPhone SE4 is followed closely and is expected to adopt a design similar to the iPhone 14. It will boast Apple’s A18 chipset and a proprietary modem chip, delivering a significant performance boost. This streamlined device, featuring a single main camera, will be available by mid-spring.

3. 11th-generation iPad

The 11th-generation iPad is also expected to debut early next year. Designed as a budget-friendly option, it will reportedly support 8GB of RAM and feature Apple’s AI platform, potentially named “Apple Intelligence,” to enhance its utility for educational and productivity purposes.

4. M4 Chip-powered MacBook Air

Apple’s M4 chip-powered MacBook Air series will follow, with a spring release planned for both 13-inch and 15-inch models. These laptops promise groundbreaking features, including a 24-hour battery life, a 12-megapixel Center Stage camera, and four Thunderbolt ports, setting new benchmarks for battery performance in the market.

5. Mac Studio

The next-generation Mac Studio rounds out the list of first-half releases. Scheduled for mid-2025, it will integrate M4 Max and M4 Ultra chips and introduce Thunderbolt 5 ports with bandwidths of up to 120Gb/s, appealing to creative professionals and power users.

Apple’s roadmap includes the debut of M5 chip-based Macs, the M5 iPad Pro, the iPhone 17 series, the Apple Watch Series 11, and the third-generation AirPods Pr in the latter half of 2025o.
