CNN Recognizes Korean Kimchi Mandu as One of the World’s Best Dumplings

Daniel Kim Views

Professor Seo Kyung Duk, who has been promoting Korean cuisine worldwide, recently announced on the 1st that CNN had chosen Kimchi Mandu from Korea as one of the best dumplings in the world.

CNN selected and announced 35 of the world’s tastiest dumplings through a particular travel article, and among them, Korea’s Kimchi Mandu was featured here.

CNN said, “Korea’s interpretation of the dumplings resembles Central Asian panti more than Chinese or Japanese dumplings.”

In particular, they explained that “Koreans fill their dumplings with chopped kimchi, and since kimchi is ubiquitous in Korea, it’s probably natural for someone to chop the kimchi and put it in dumplings,” he said. , cheap but delicious food.”

Seo Gyeong-Seok, a professor at Sungshin Women’s University, said, “We have other good evidence to respond to China’s kimchi process.”

China has long been a consistent Kimchi Process, where Korean kimchi originates from Chinese pao chai. Paochai is one of the Chinese pickled vegetables.

Professor Seo emphasized that, given that CNN presented kimchi as a food that can be found anywhere in Korea, they have a proper understanding of Korean kimchi culture.”

He also announced that From now on, I will do my best to promote not only kimchi but also Korean food related to kimchi, such as kimchi dumplings, kimchi fried rice, and rolled noodles with kimchi, to the world.”
