wikitree Views

A concerning phone call to the office of In Yo Han, a Supreme Council member of the People Power Party, has prompted the police to investigate after claims were made that President Yoon Suk Yeol might face danger.

Yoon responded to reporters’ questions during a state briefing and press conference held in the briefing room of the Presidential Office in Yongsan. / News1

The anonymous call, made around 4:30 PM from a number beginning with 010, conveyed a dire prophecy from a shaman, stating that Yoon would pass away on October 26 and urged enhanced security at the Presidential Office.

The call was brief, and the caller offered no evidence to back up the claim. Following the call, In Yo Han’s staff quickly alerted the police through a 112 emergency call to verify the caller’s identity and shared the concerning information with the Presidential Office.

Police are now actively investigating the matter to determine the credibility of the threat and any possible criminal intentions behind it.
