Rodong Sinmun reported on Thursday that over 60 beautiful snow and ice sculptures have been displayed along Botnamu Street in Samjiyon City, Ryanggang Province, to celebrate the New Year, creating a festive atmosphere.

“The ice sculptures, vividly depicting modern local industrial plants along both sides of the central road on Botnamu Street, reflect a new era of local development,” the newspaper highlighted.

It further noted, “Visitors are also flocking to view the snow and ice sculptures that showcase the future of the Bukpotaesan District, which is set to transform into a ski tourism resort.”
