Next-Gen Golf Experience: LG Electronics Partners with Atomic Golf in Las Vegas

theguru Views

LG Electronics has partnered with Atomic Golf, a major golf entertainment company in the United States. They pioneer the next generation of landmark golf destinations in the United States and offer users a unique digital experience.

According to the North American subsidiary of LG Electronics, on the 13th, they signed a partnership with Atomic Golf, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Through this partnership, LG Electronics will supply over 250 Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs) to various parts of the venue, including the golf zone, sports bar, and arcade game facilities. These displays come in multiple sizes, from 49 to 110 inches. They plan to embellish every step of the customer’s journey, from the parking lot to the tee line, with LG’s unique digital experience and messaging.

LG Electronics has reported that Atomic Golf can turn the entire digital signage network on and off with a single button, eliminating the hassle of managing over 250 displays individually.

Atomic Golf is a next-generation golf entertainment attraction in Las Vegas, combining a unique atmosphere with immersive gameplay. It is being built on about 100,000 square feet (929,030 square meters), close to the famous Las Vegas Strip. It is located near the STRAT Hotel and Casino & Tower. The venue comprises four floors, featuring 103 individual golf bays, six full-service bars, a putting zone equipped with eight digital facilities, and a modern taproom with a collection of house-brewed beers.

Upon entering, guests will first encounter an extended LG outdoor display overhead. Each golf bay has a customized ball dispenser fitted with a 49-inch LG outdoor display. In the Astrocade Zone, where sports entertainment can be viewed, guests can encounter LG’s high-definition display screens stretching from the floor to the ceiling.

The display installation was done in collaboration with Simply Connected, an installation and integration company responsible for installing and maintaining digital displays, including video and audio distribution, control, security, and monitoring of digital signage networks.

Brian Birckbichler, Senior Vice President of Atomic Golf, said, “From the moment customers arrive at Atomic Golf, they are surrounded by vivid LG digital displays featuring group welcome messages, live sports events, and all hitting bays.” He added, “Through our collaboration with LG, we were able to utilize a vast product catalog and powerful digital signage functions to increase customer engagement and establish a stable network through system control and maintenance.

Mike Kosla, Vice President of Business Solutions at LG Electronics’ North American subsidiary, said, “Through a single digital signage network, we have supported Atomic Golf so that site managers can have immediate and direct access to all controls, such as control and change of individual displays and systems, problem-solving, or maintenance-required alerts.”
