Roblox announced on the 16th that it has launched new features such as an “automatic translation tool” and the ability to launch 3D avatar items in the marketplace to enhance the convenience of Korean game developers.

Developers can create and publish games in Korean and automatically translate related content into 15 languages supported by Roblox using the automatic translation tool feature.

A Roblox representative explained, “Developers do not need to manage the translation process, and users around the world can enjoy the experience in their native language. Through the automatic translation tool feature, experiences created in Korean on Roblox can reach more users worldwide.”

Roblox is introducing the ability to launch 3D avatar items in the marketplace and expanding its developer membership. Until now, only UGC program members could launch items in the marketplace, but they have expanded the target so that more creators can create items. Creators who have completed their own verification process on Roblox, are subscribed to Roblox Premium 1000 or 2200, and are faithfully complying with community regulations and marketplace policies can upload and release items in the marketplace. They can create marketplace items using a free toolkit in Roblox Studio.

Enrico D’Angelo, Vice President of Roblox Economy, said, “As the number of creators making avatar items worldwide increases, users will be able to easily find 3D items that express what they want in the virtual world.”
