Uber Technologies has announced plans to contribute to President Donald Trump’s inauguration fund. The company joins several major corporations seeking to build positive relations with the incoming administration.

On Tuesday, an Uber spokesperson disclosed that both the company and its CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi, have pledged $1 million each to the President-elect’s inauguration fund.

This decision placed Uber among prominent corporations that aimed to foster goodwill with the Trump administration after his November election victory.

The Wall Street Journal first reported Uber and Khosrowshahi’s donations earlier that day.
