Electric vehicle prices have taken a nosedive, making now the perfect time to buy. Kia has launched its “EV Festa,” offering substantial discounts on its key electric models.

When combining manufacturer discounts with federal and local incentives, buyers can save up to $6,910 on the EV6 and $12,855 on the Bongo EV.

EV6 Price Drops from $50,000 Range to $40,000

The EV6 is leading the charge in Kia’s discount campaign. With a base price of $38,000 for the EV6 2WD 19-inch long-range trim, Kia offers a $1,130 manufacturer discount plus an additional $1,500 off. Factor in the $4,350 federal tax credit, a $450 local incentive, and an extra $230 tied to the manufacturer’s discount, and the final price plummets to $30,340. That is a total of $7,500 off the sticker price.

Kia’s flagship electric SUV, the EV9, is not excluded from the discount bonanza. The EV9 2WD 19-inch Air trim, originally priced at $55,200, now comes with a $1,800 manufacturer discount and an additional $1,800 off.

After applying federal and local incentives, the final price tag for the EV9 drops to $49,300, representing a total savings of $5,840.

Niro EV and Bongo EV Join the Discount Party

The compact Niro EV is also getting a significant price cut. Originally listed at $36,500, it now has a total discount of $7,610, bringing its price down to an attractive $28,900. The Bongo EV wins the discount battle.

Despite its initial $32,400 price tag, the Bongo EV’s cost plummets to just $18,400 after applying a $2,630 manufacturer discount, an extra $980 off, and all available government and local incentives.

Kia’s “EV Festa” aligns perfectly with the expansion of electric vehicle incentive programs.

Kia offers these hefty discounts to sweeten the deal and roll out its “Kia e-Life Package.” This comprehensive program includes perks like charging benefits, vehicle management services, and guaranteed resale values for used EVs.

A Kia spokesperson stated, “We’ve crafted these special offers in conjunction with government initiatives to make EVs more accessible. We aim to continue developing support programs that allow customers to choose electric vehicles confidently without financial hesitation.”
