
Volvo has officially launched the full-scale sales of its compact electric SUV, the EX30, in South Korea following the approval of government subsidies. According to www.ev.or.kr, the government subsidy for the EX30 in South Korea is KRW 2.47 million ($1,716), and when combined with local government support, it significantly reduces the actual purchase price.
High-Performance Electric SUV with Premium Features


The Volvo EX30 stands out not only for its government subsidies but also for its strong performance as a premium compact electric SUV. Its electric motor delivers a maximum output of 272 horsepower and 35 kg·m of torque, providing impressive acceleration. The EX30 can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.3 seconds.
The vehicle supports 135 kW rapid charging from 10% to 80% in just 28 minutes. It also offers excellent handling with near-perfect 50:50 weight distribution, ensuring stable driving performance.
Regarding safety and convenience, even the base trim includes advanced features such as adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation, and blind spot warning systems. The top-tier Ultra trim offers premium features, including park pilot assist, a surround-view camera, and a Harman Kardon premium audio system.
