Toyota has unveiled the 2025 C-HR, aimed at the European market. This model features a new High Hero trim characterized by advanced design and electrification technology. The C-HR is a Toyota subcompact SUV model that European consumers have consistently loved for its unique sporty feel and luxurious finish. The model has proven popular, with cumulative sales in Europe exceeding 1 million units as of 2024.

The newly introduced High Hero trim is the top trim that replaces the existing Premier Edition. It faithfully reflects the development philosophy of the C-HR, “concept car on the road,” and is characterized by strong styling and differentiated specifications. Bold design changes and enhanced hybrid systems have increased competitiveness.

Sleeker Design and Premium Feel

In terms of exterior design, a more aggressive impression was emphasized than before. The body applied a Byton color scheme to maximize the sporty feel, and black trim was added to the roof and side sill to create a sleek silhouette. The new front grille design stands out in the front, and the rear bumper lip was also matched with the same tone as the body color to create a sophisticated feel.

Applying new 19-inch matte gray wheels enhanced the overall sense of balance. The wheel design has become more sophisticated, and the color matching harmonizing with the body adds a refined feel. This emphasizes a more futuristic feel compared to the existing model.

The interior design has also been significantly improved. The top grade, High Hero, applied a Bordeaux color that combines synthetic leather and suede to the front seats. Multi-color stitching was added to enhance the sense of luxury further. Liquid black was used on the shift knob, door trim, and front console to create a sophisticated feel.

Enhanced Hybrid System and Safety Features

The 2025 C-HR comes equipped with the latest 5th-generation Toyota hybrid system across all trims. The plug-in hybrid (PHEV) 220 model can achieve 66 km (41 miles) of electric range based on the WLTP standard, with up to 100 km (62 miles) in urban driving, making it an efficient option for city commuters.

The Toyota T-Mate, which incorporates the third-generation Toyota safety sense system as standard, enhances safety. This system provides a comprehensive suite of safety features, including collision avoidance and driver assistance systems.

The 2025 C-HR’s updated design and electrification technology make it a strategic model for Toyota in the European market, aimed at strengthening its position in the growing hybrid and electric vehicle segments.
