Meanwhile, V passed the special duty team(SDT) of the Army Capital Defense Command last year and underwent basic military training at the Nonsan Training Center along with BTS member RM in December.

V, who recently completed his basic military training as a top trainee, is continuing his military life in the Ssangyong Unit.

RM enlisted alongside him and was assigned to the 15th Infantry Division Victory Unit.

As of December 2022, all members of BTS are serving in the military. J Hope enlisted in April last year as a training assistant at the 36th Division New Soldier Training Unit. Suga has been serving as a social service agent since September of the previous year.

Jimin and Jung Kook also serve in the military. Jin, the first to enlist, is set to be discharged in June. It is expected that BTS will resume activities as a full group after all members are discharged in 2025.
