D-100 Days Until BTS’ Jin is Discharged From the Military

Calling all ARMYs! It’s time to begin the countdown until BTS’ Jin (real name Kim Seok Jin) finishes his mandatory military service.

Jin, who enlisted on December 13, 2022, has 100 days left until his discharge as of today, March 4th.

He is currently serving as an assistant instructor at the 5th Infantry Division recruit training center and is expected to be discharged on June 12th.

As the first member to enlist in the military, Jin drew attention with his witty demeanor before enlistment. At the time, Jin shared a photo of his shaved head with the caption, “It’s curtain call time now.” He then elicited laughter with the comment, “Cuter than I thought.”

All BTS members, including Jin, are currently fulfilling their military duties. J-Hope, who enlisted last April, serves as an assistant instructor at the 36th Division’s recruit training center, while Suga has been working as a social service agent since last September.

V is active in the 2nd Army Corps Ssangyong unit, and RM is in the 15th Infantry Division “Victory”. Jimin and Jungkook, who enlisted together, are serving in the 5th Infantry Division.

Last December, Jin shared, “A year has already passed since I enlisted. There’s still a lot of time left, but thinking about spending only a third of the total time left and being with you all makes my heart flutter.” He added, “And the fact that our members are enlisting makes me tear up. I hope time passes quickly so I can spend a good time with the members and our fans.”

Meanwhile, BTS’s full group activities are expected to resume in 2025.
