A bizarre accident occurred last Friday in California, where a car crashed through a building wall and plunged into an indoor swimming pool.
ABC7 Los Angeles and USA Today reported on Monday that the accident happened last Friday at around 9:30 PM in a swimming pool inside a 24-hour fitness center in Redlands County, San Bernardino, California.
The California Highway Patrol shared images on social media of a vehicle submerged in the center of the pool.
Fire authorities who responded to the scene reported that no one was in the pool at the time of the accident, and only the driver was inside the car. Consequently, no significant injuries were sustained. The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
