Tom Holland Denies Breakup with Zendaya Despite Rumors

Hollywood actor Tom Holland (27) has dismissed rumors of a breakup with his girlfriend, actress Zendaya Coleman (27).

According to the American media outlet TMZ on the 12th (local time), Tom Holland answered “Absolutely not” to a paparazzi’s question about whether he had broken up with Zendaya. He seemed annoyed by the absurd rumors, and after giving a brief answer, he got into his car without saying a word.

Previously, Zendaya had unfollowed everyone, including Tom Holland, on her social networking service. Tom Holland was still following Zendaya’s account, but rumors of their breakup arose from fans’ concerns that they might have separated.

Furthermore, the fact that no new sightings of the two have been reported since they were last seen at a grocery store in LA in October last year added fuel to the breakup rumors. However, TMZ added, citing a source, that the two spent the New Year together.

Meanwhile, Tom Holland and Zendaya first worked together in the 2016 film ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming,’ playing Peter Parker and MJ, respectively. They continued their public relationship after being spotted sharing sweet moments in a car in 2021.

In particular, the two were seen spending time with family in Tom Holland’s hometown, London, several times, which led to engagement rumors. A close source claimed, “Tom Holland and Zendaya are in settling down mode, and they are planning a real future together.” Tom Holland also fueled the engagement rumors by stating in an interview, “I have been focusing on my work for the past six years. Now I want to take a break, establish a home, and figure out what I want to do outside of this world.” He also expressed his desire to get married by saying, “I love kids. I want to become a dad soon.”
