P1Harmony’s First Studio Album ‘Killin’ It’ Receives Rave Reviews from NME and Grammy

P1Harmony’s first studio album, “Killin’ It,” is attracting attention from overseas media.

The British magazine NME recently reported on the comeback of P1Harmony with its first studio album, Killin’ It. It highlighted the scenes in the music video for the title track “Killin’ It,” where P1Harmony performs in various settings, such as a dental office and magazine covers, and are depicted as larger than the surrounding buildings. The magazine also emphasized that all the members, including Jongseob, who wrote all the lyrics, participated in the album’s production, indicating high interest in the new album.

The American magazine FAME ICON praised the first studio album, “Killin’ It,” stating, “This is not just an album, but an album that has reached the pinnacle of P1Harmony’s pop evolution.” They added, “The group’s captivating storytelling and musical talent have garnered millions of views across various platforms and established them as heroes in a world connected with fans.”

In an exclusive interview with the American media outlet Consequence of Sound, they mentioned, “What stands out most about P1Harmony’s energy these days is their distinct pride in their first studio album.” They added, “All the members participated in the production of all the songs on this album.”

The media outlet further evaluated, “The title track ‘Killin’ It’ effectively shows how P1Harmony stands out among talented artists. The title track starts with a big, bright beat, and the members add their unique hip-hop style, a certain degree of fun, and eye-catching visuals.” Member Jiung confidently said, “The title track, ‘Killin’ It,’ felt like something P1Harmony could do well, and we felt we could make it our own with rap and harmony.”

American media outlet GRAMMY.com published an exclusive interview titled “P1Harmony Proves They’re the Heroes We’ve Been Waiting For in Killin’ It.” In the interview, Theo, when asked about the pressure of the first studio album, said, “I’m happy to be able to show what we’ve created to our fans confidently, but there’s always a pressure of ‘Could we have done better?'” He added, “We try to minimize flaws, but no matter how hard we try, flaws don’t disappear. However, this process is a way to grow as a singer.” P1Harmony also answered honestly about the direction of work, inspiration, and new milestones for their first studio album, Killin’ It.

P1Harmony released the music video and all the tracks for the title track, “Killin’ It,” from their first studio album, Killin’ It, on the 5th and released the physical album in Korea on the 7th and the United States on the 9th. On the first day of the physical album release alone, they sold over 160,000 copies and topped the Hanteo Chart’s daily physical album chart and the Circle Chart’s daily retail album chart on the 7th. They also topped the Hanteo Chart’s weekly physical album chart (February 5th to 11th), with sales accumulating just five days after the release.
